In-studio COVID-19 protocol for clients

Arrival

Please contact us upon your arrival to the studio. We will open the door for you. Your artist’s contact information will be in your email via the confirmation details. Text or call, what ever you prefer. Please wear and keep on a mask into the studio. Upon entering, we ask that you wash your hands. We have medical grade disposable masks available if you need one that goes around your ears.

Getting started

Once we have washed our hands, we will head to the hair and makeup chair. We ask that you keep your mask on until it is time for your makeup services. Hairstyling will happen first, so that you can remain with mask on for as long as possible. We’ll talk over the plans for your look at this time so have some inspiration photos ready to look at together . Getting our tools out and ready will be important, as we will plan to not go into our bags or drawers during services for sanitation reasons. Please bear with us as we work through this process.

During Services

Hair services

  • will occur first if you are getting both services

  • please arrive with CLEAN + DRY hair. We are unable to provide full blowouts at this time. Dry styling is what we love to do, so we’re embracing it fully. We will be unable to do services on damp or wet hair (and will not provide a refund if this protocol is not followed and the service can not be completed).

  • A mask must be worn during hair services.

Makeup services

  • will occur second if you are getting both services

  • please arrive with freshly washed skin

  • we will first talk over plans for your look

  • we suggest that you bring a lip color, especially if you will be taking a mask on and off throughout your day.

  • lashes are included in your application if you’d like them

Important!

  • all appointments will be 1 on 1 (artist and client)- please do not bring guests to the studio

  • we will be washing our hands frequently throughout the process

  • we request clients bring any needed refreshments like a water bottle

  • if you touch your phone during the appointment, please sanitize your hands

  • there will be little to no talking during makeup services- don’t worry we have good jams, try to relax and enjoy

  • please note that all high touch surfaces, the chair, bathroom and tabletops will be cleaned and sanitized immediately before and after each appointment with medical grade sanitizers.

  • we will be using disposable items whereever we can (as always)

  • our brushes and tools will be cleaned and sanitized fully before and after each appointment, and anything cleaned and sanitized will remain unused for 72 hours.

  • Please refrain from touching our tools or makeup.

  • Please do not plan to get dressed or use our space for anything other than our services (sorry no family members or friends allowed to hang with us at this time).

  • If you are feeling ill, have symptoms of COVID-19 or have come into contact with anyone with symptoms or who has been diagnosed within 14 days, we ask you to cancel your appointment.

  • If you need to cough or sneeze during your appointment, please cover your mouth and nose if you are unmasked.

  • If you become aware of a COVID-19 diagnosis within 14 days of working with us, please also notify us.
